Worldschoolers bucket list hosts travelling hubs. What is a travelling hub? It means our hubs run for 4 weeks and change location every month. This means every month you get a new experience in a new country. Our hubs are planned in a 4-month semester block. You can join for 1 month or the full semester and get an additional 15% off.
Get to know Da Nang, Hue, and Hoi An with like-minded families and explore the country of Vietnam! We will be in Da Nang and then take two side trips. One where we will catch the train through Hai Van Pass to UNESCO World Heritage site Hue and another to experience the Lantern Festival in Hoi An
Da Nang is the one of most worth living cities in Vietnam, a city with the harmony of mountains, the sea and rivers. There are two mountains close to Danang, Monkey Mountain and Marble Mountain, both are perfect destinations for nature lovers and mountain hikers. Son Tra Mountain, commonly known as “Monkey Mountain” gives you a breathtaking view over the ocean and the city. More of a beach person? A long coast of more than 10 kilometres offers more than ten fantastic white sandy beaches.
Hue is a city chock-full of stories. The Kings of the Nguyen Dynasty built their feudal capital along Hue’s fertile riverbanks and atop its forested hills, but their imperial legacy is just one of many reasons to visit. Hue’s refined cuisine is the stuff of legend, and its leafy streets are lined with mossy pagodas, art déco mansions, and eye-popping markets. Throughout the whole scene flows the Perfume River, sets a languid pace the rest of the city is happy to follow.
Hoi An Ancient Town is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Its buildings and its street plan reflect the influences, both indigenous and foreign, that have combined to produce this unique heritage site. The Hoi An Lantern Festival is a monthly event that celebrates the full moon. The full moon is one of the most sacred times in the Buddhist calendar. It is said that Buddha was not only born on a full moon but attained enlightenment on a full moon.
