LODGING & NEIGHBORHOODS: It’s safe to say there will be no localized neighborhood for this pop-up. We will group activities by area to explore a different part of the city each day. Expect most of our time to be within central London between Kensington Palace in the West, Tower of London in the East, Regent’s Park in the North, and Battersea Park in the South.
TRANSPORT CARDS: It’s also safe to say you will need to purchase some sort of public transport card to keep costs down. There are Oyster Cards, Travelcards, Young Visitor Discounts, and single pay tickets. This article sorts out the details: https://independenttravelcats.com/tips-for-buying-using…
MEET YOUR HOST: Rachel and her family will be hosting this event. Rachel’s family has been on the road full time since 2018 with plenty of travel experience prior to that. Two of their children will join in this pop-up (ages 13 and 15), their oldest is out of the home. Favorite family travel destinations include Spain, New Zealand, Hawaii, South Africa, and Florida Keys, though Rachel also loves Sweden, Switzerland, and Laos. This will be Rachel’s 13th pop-up as a host and 14th pop-up overall.
