Solomon and Amanda Dixon moved to the Dominican Republic from Buffalo, New York three years ago. With their four children ,Adrian (age 7), Remington (age 5.5), Thea Nadia (age 4) and Zion (age 1) they started Forever Wild Children’s Garden. This has served as a homeschool and world school learning pod for children ages 4-11 from almost 20 countries for the last 2 and a half years!!!!
building units for learning. Solomon is a spoken word poet and break dancer that facilitated writing workshops that centered on social emotional strengths and building social bonds around the east coast of the Unites States before moving to the DR. Together, they are a dynamic team that focuses on play, learning, and building that community we all seek. They have years of experience running events and each one is sure to be unforgettable.
Las Terrenas is a small beach town two hours from the capital and located on the northern peninsula. Many traveling families choose to live along the beaches and there are a variety of options to fit every budget. We suggest finding a few options on Airbnb that fit your style and budget and your hosts are happy to make recommendations based off your choices. Your hosts live a 10-minute walk from Punta Popy Beach. Traveling families enjoy Playa Ballenas, Playa Bonita or Punta Popy beaches for accommodations.
