Askö familjevecka /Askö family camp 2022

For once we’ve been early in picking a date for the next camp! 11-17th of July 2022, and we hope that the world will somewhat have returned to some form of normality and that it will be possible for all those who wish to come and join us!

THE SETUP is the same as previous years, we provide the place and then we create the event together. There’s the black board where all suggestions on activities, discussions, and so on can be written down for those who are interested. What happens is up to those who are here, and can therefore vary greatly from year to year. Some of the reoccurring activities are various games, water fights, football, workshops, and loads of music. Discussions are also very varied, but with a general focus on different aspects of life as home educators.

THE PLACE is a small farm in Sörmland, Sweden. There’s plenty of space for tents and caravans/campervans. There’s a fully equipped shared outdoor kitchen (with a roof, so no worries if the weather is bad) for all to use, everyone is responsible for their own food. The conditions are simple, with outdoor toilets and so on, but the shower does have warm water!

THE PRICE is voluntary contribution to help us pay for the costs that comes from hosting this event.

We will update this event with more information in the future, but we wanted to send out the invite now already so that you’d all have plenty of time to plan next summer! And if you know of someone you think would enjoy coming here you’re of course very welcome to send them an invite too!
