This incredibly beautiful island is an amazing place to learn how to be a Changemaker. The impact of global issues such as climate change\, plastic pollution\, lack of quality education are felt keenly here. Dominicans are super friendly and keen to be changemakers too. You will work with local social impact projects to design local solutions to global issues that will have a lasting positive impact. You’ll experience first hand what it feels like to be the change the world needs. And most likely improve your Spanish\, have an epic adventure and make friends for life. The basic Changemaker experience is 2 weeks long\, but you can stay for 5 weeks (or longer) and really do something impactful in the community if you wish to.
