My name is Carla and I’m with David and our two kids Roberto (11) and Greta (9). We have been traveling full time since 2018 and are originally from Tenerife\, Spain. We started our worldschooling journey in a campervan that still travels with us\, but sometimes we park the van and travel in any other transport to get to the place we want. We have been to many worldschooling hubs and pop ups\, organized a bunch of them and we really know the importance and the meaning of this community. \nValencia is the place where my mum was born. It’s a place where I’ve spent many summers of my childhood and a place I keep coming back because I have a lot of family and friends there. It’s a big nice city with many things to do and places to see that I can’t wait to share while hanging out with other families! \nLODGING & NEIGHBORHOODS: \nValencia is a nice city to walk and ride bikes or use public transport. Activities will be all around the city centre\, from Parque de Cabecera in the north west to Portsaplaya in the north East\, la Malvarosa Beach at the East\, El Saler in the South. \nYou can look for accommodation near the old channel of Turia\, this way you will have green area to walk any time with playgrounds\, sport areas\, etc. But if you prefer you could stay stay close to the beach\, transport to the centre is very easy and cheap and also you can use the bike lanes to go to the centre. \nCampgrounds and additional info in the website (linked with ticket info below). \nADDITIONAL INFORMATION: \nTicets available online: https://hubs.planetaworldschool.com/valencia-worldschool-hub/ \nIf you are interested joing the facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/valenciaworldschoolhub \nVisit https://hubs.planetaworldschool.com/ to check other hubs we are working on and fill out the subscribe form in the footer.
