SUMMARY:Full Semester 2\, 2023 Travelling Hub
DESCRIPTION:Join us as our travelling Worldschooling hub sets up in South East Asia for Semester 2\, 2023.  \nWe will be visiting four destinations over the four months. \nHanoi\, Vietnam – September 3rd – October 1st\nChiang Mai\, Thailand – October 1st – October 29th\nHo Chi Minh\, Vietnam – October 29th – November 26th\nBorneo\, Malaysia – November 26th – December 22nd \nSTEAM Education Package\nEach of our Hubs includes at least 6 hours per week of hands-on STEAM education. We believe that kids should have an interest in and a say in what they are learning. To help facilitate this every registered child will get to vote on what classes are run. This will be based on previous knowledge and interest. A final list of classes will be available three weeks before the start of the Hub \nA detailed itinerary will be emailed and available 2 weeks before the hub for all attendees. \nActivities\nNot only will there be STEAM education\, all our hubs are jam-packed with 60+ planned group activities every month. DESCRIPTION:Come join us in Seoul\, South Korea\, for a fun-filled week from September 24-30\, 2023. \nOur pop-ups provide a super casual\, budget-friendly opportunity to gather together\, connect with other worldschoolers\, share your insights\, instill new friendships\, learn about the local area\, and immerse in a friendly\, accepting mobile community. \nWe’ve cherry-picked the best low- or no-cost activities that highlight local nature\, arts\, history\, food\, and culture….but you’ll also have plenty of time to relax\, get to know each other and even stray from the itinerary to add activities that cater to the group’s interests (we provide plenty of supplemental ideas to tailor your experience). \nPop in for a few days or the full week. Join as many activities as you’d like. It’s up to you! Their two younger kids will join the Seoul Pop-Up and will be 14 and 16 years old at the time. \nComing soon: We have a potential co-host who may join us in leading this event! \nLODGING & NEIGHBORHOODS:\nMany of our activities will take place near the Myeong-dong and Insa-dong Neighborhoods\, so if you like to be central\, these are great areas to stay. Insa-dong has more of a local feel. However\, Seoul is a safe city as long as you use common sense\, there really are no bad neighborhoods\, just pay attention to distances from this central area. \nSubways are easy to navigate\, we recommend staying near a subway station.
